Help, tickets and troubleshooting
Stuck on something, or have an idea to share? Here’s where to find answers fast, and how to reach a real person on our team.
Try dark mode, folders, languages or Storytime
- Open the hamburger menu and tap "Support & Setup".
- Tap "Contact human".
- Type a Subject, a short line about what this is.
- Pick a Category: "Help needed", "Comments & suggestions", "Feature request", "Accounting", "Bug report", or "Other".
- Write the details. You’ve got room for up to 10,000 characters, so tell us the whole story.
- Tap "Send".
- You can also start one from your profile menu. Tap your avatar, choose "View Support Tickets", then tap "+ New ticket".
- The more you tell us, the better: what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- Picking the right category gets your message to the right person faster.
- Choose Accounting for anything about billing, a charge or a refund.
- Tap your avatar and choose "View Support Tickets". You can also open "Support & Setup" and tap "Your submitted tickets".
- Tap a ticket to open its thread and read the whole conversation.
- To reply, type in the reply box and tap "Send reply".
- When your question is answered, tap "Mark resolved".
- Tap "Back to your tickets" to return to the list.
- Each ticket wears a status badge so you can see where it stands at a glance: Open, In progress, Awaiting your reply, Resolved, or Closed.
- "Awaiting your reply" is the one to watch for. It means the ball’s in your court.
- Got a lot of tickets? The list loads ten at a time, and "Show More" at the bottom brings in the rest.
- Open "Support & Setup" and scroll down to "Frequently Asked Questions".
- Tap a question to expand its answer.
- Tap it again to fold it away, and open the next one.
- The six cover what Qbit can do, how credits work, privacy, using Qbit offline, cancelling a subscription, and what happens to your data if you delete your account.
- Several answers carry a link that jumps you straight to the exact Settings section they’re talking about, so you can read it and act on it in one go.
- Tap the hamburger menu.
- Tap "Support & Setup" near the bottom.
- Scroll through the sections: "Get Started", "Try These Queries", "Quick Tutorials", "Tips & Tricks", the FAQ, and "Need More Help?".
- "Try These Queries" is the fastest way to see what she can do. Tap one and watch her go.
- Work down the get started checklist on your first evening and you’ll have covered most of the setup that matters, with time to spare for dinner.
- It’s a great page to send to a partner or a grandparent who’s new to Qbit.
- Open "Support & Setup" and scroll to "Need More Help?".
- Type your question in the "Ask Qbit" box.
- Press Enter, or tap the send arrow.
- Qbit takes you Home and answers there.
- Ask her the way you’d ask a friend. "How do I add my daughter?" works better than a keyword.
- If her answer doesn’t quite settle it, the "Contact human" option is right there on the same page.
- Open the hamburger menu and tap "Desktop App Settings".
- Qbit copies the chrome:// address to your clipboard and lets you know she’s done it.
- Click into your browser’s address bar, paste it, and press Enter.
- This is the place to check things like notifications and microphone permissions for the installed app.
- Paste it into the address bar rather than a search box. Chrome won’t search for a chrome:// address.
Write to a real human, here’s how
Sometimes you just want a person. Qbit has a support inbox built right in, so you can write to a real member of our team, and their reply lands back inside the app in a thread you can keep going.
Good to know: Replies typically arrive within 24 hours, and they’ll show up right here in your tickets list. Email notifications are coming soon, so for now, check back in the app.
Reading a reply from our team, and writing back
Every message you send our team lives in its own thread, ready whenever you are. Read our reply, write back, and close it out once you’re all sorted.
Screenshots are on their way for this one.
Good to know: "View Support Tickets" shows up in your avatar menu once you have a ticket, open or closed. The shortcut on the Support & Setup page appears while you have one open.
The questions everybody asks, answered
The FAQ answers the six questions people ask most, and it’s quick to skim. It’s a lovely first stop before you write to us.
Support and Setup is where you learn the ropes, here’s how to get there
If you visit one page to get your bearings, make it this one. Support and Setup is where Qbit shows you the ropes: a get started checklist, example questions you can fire off with one tap, tips, the FAQ, and two ways to reach us.
Screenshots are on their way for this one.
Good to know: Same page, two names: it’s "Knowledge Base" in the profile dropdown and "Support & Setup" in the hamburger menu.
Ask Qbit about Qbit, right on the help page
Got a question about Qbit herself? Ask her. There’s a small box on the help page just for that, and she’ll answer in chat like any other question.
Good to know: Questions asked in this box, and her answers, go quietly to our support team so we can see where people get stuck and fix it. Only this box does that; the prompt cards and the ordinary search box don’t.
Getting to Chrome’s settings for the installed Qbit app, here’s how
Installed Qbit as a desktop app? Its permissions live on a Chrome settings page that browsers only let you open yourself, so Qbit does the next best thing and hands you the address, ready to paste.
Good to know: This one’s for Chrome and Edge, and it’s handy once you’ve installed Qbit as a desktop app. If your browser blocks clipboard access, Qbit shows the address on screen so you can copy it by hand.
