File a conversation into a folder

Had a great conversation you want to keep somewhere specific so it’s more organized and easier to find in the future? File it in a folder (or subfolder). It will then show up in that folder, right alongside the other conversations, documents and photos in that folder.

Steps

1. Tap the folder icon in the row of buttons under the conversation.
2. Pick a folder from the menu. Folders inside other folders are shown indented.
3. A short message confirms it: “Added to” and the folder name.

Tips

• You can do the same from your Recents list, so tidying up can wait until later.
• Choosing the unfiled option takes a conversation back out again.

Good to know: Filing moves the whole conversation, the whole thread.
