Making Qbit yours

Birthdays, anniversaries and important dates, here’s how to add them

Add the dates that matter and Qbit will bring them up at just the right moment. Birthdays, anniversaries, the day you adopted the cat, anything you’d hate to miss. And you can ask Qbit for suggestions on how to celebrate or what presents to get.

Steps

  1. Open the drop-down menu and tap “My Profile”.
  2. Tap “My Important Dates” to expand the section.
  3. Type a description into the empty row at the bottom, for example: Mom’s birthday.
  4. Set the month, day and year in the three drop-downs beside it. They appear in the order your language normally uses.
  5. As soon as both the description and the date are filled in, the row saves itself. There’s no Save button to hunt for.
  6. A fresh empty row appears underneath, ready for the next date.
  7. If you’d like another blank row straight away, tap “Add another date”.

Tips

  • Editing a date you saved earlier works the same way. It saves itself a moment after you stop typing.
  • Do a batch in one sitting. Ten minutes now buys you a whole year of remembering.

Good to know

Good to know: A row saves once both the description and the date are filled in, so pop the date in too.
