Enter sends on a computer and starts a new line on your phone, here’s why
The Enter key is a little bit clever. On a computer it sends, and on a phone it starts a new line, so a stray thumb near the return key never fires off a half finished question. Qbit sorts this out automatically, so there’s nothing to set up.
Steps
- On a computer or laptop: type your question, then press Enter to send. Press Shift and Enter together if you want a line break instead.
- On a phone or tablet: type your question, press return whenever you want a new line, then tap the paper plane Send button when you’re ready.
Tips
- Shift and Enter always makes a new line, on any device. Handy for a list or a longer note.
- Attaching a keyboard to a tablet doesn’t change this on its own, so use the Send button there.
