See what Qbit knows about you, and remove any line you like
Besides the facts you add yourself, Qbit keeps a short, plain-language profile written from your own conversations: the people you mention, your interests, your ongoing plans. That profile is yours to read, and any line of it can go.
Steps
- Tap your picture in the top right and choose “My Profile”.
- Scroll to “What Qbit knows about you” and tap it to open the card.
- Read the profile. It is grouped under short headings: people and relationships, preferences and style, ongoing plans and interests, important context.
- To remove a line, tap the × beside it and confirm. Qbit stops using that fact right away.
Tips
- The profile writes itself as you chat and refreshes every few messages, so a new interest shows up soon after you mention it.
- Removing a line also removes any saved fact in “Special things for Qbit to know about you” that says the same thing, so Qbit really does stop using it.
- Bring the same subject up again in a later conversation and the line can come back. That is deliberate: the profile follows what you actually talk about.
Good to know
Good to know: Nothing there yet? The card fills in after a few conversations. A Qbit Teens account has no card of its own; the parent reads a teen’s profile under Qbit Teens.
