Your Google Drive files are a few taps away, here’s how to bring them in
If your files live in Google Drive, you can bring them straight in without downloading anything first. Pick them in Google’s own list and they become ordinary Qbit documents, without the file ever passing through your browser.
Steps
- Connect Google Drive first under My Profile, then “Connected Apps”.
- On My Folders, tap Upload, then “Import from Google Drive”.
- Google’s own picker opens as a list. Select one file or several.
- Qbit says “Importing from Google Drive...”, then “Imported. Qbit is reading it now.” and your new rows appear in the list.
Tips
- Imported files work just like anything else you upload, so you can file them, print them or ask about them.
- Qbit checks your Drive connection every time you open My Folders, so the row shows up as soon as you connect.
Good to know
Good to know: Using the installed Qbit app on an iPhone or iPad? Open qbit.app in Safari, or hop on a computer, for Drive imports. Google’s picker doesn’t run inside the app on Apple devices, and Qbit will let you know if you try.
