Deleting an alert you’ve reviewed
Once you’ve read an alert and talked it through, you may not want it hanging around. Archive tucks it away; Delete removes it for good. Both are yours to choose.
Steps
- Open the Alerts page for your teen.
- Find the alert, in Current, Archive or Saved.
- Open it and tap “Delete”.
- Confirm on the prompt. The alert is gone from your alerts.
Tips
- Need a record first? Tap “Export” before you delete and keep the PDF.
- Not sure yet? “Archive” keeps it out of the way and “Restore” brings it back any time. Delete is for when you’re done with it.
- Deleting changes nothing about your settings. Qbit keeps watching just as before, and a new alert on the same subject will still reach you.
Good to know
Good to know: A deleted alert can’t be brought back, and deleting it doesn’t delete the conversation it came from. For that, use “Use Qbit as” and delete the conversation from Recents.
