Qbit Teens: accounts for ages 13 to 17

Sharing is your call, here’s how to set it and see what your teen has shared

Your teen can share a conversation with friends, family or a teacher with one link. You decide whether that’s on, and you get the full list of every conversation they’ve shared.

Steps

  1. Open “Qbit Teens” and tap your teen’s name.
  2. Tap “Sharing with others”.
  3. Set “Allow sharing links” on or off. The default is “on”.
  4. Scroll down to “Shared content” just underneath.
  5. Each row shows the conversation, the date, and any addresses they emailed it to.
  6. To end a shared link, tap “Revoke” on it, or “Delete” if it’s already been opened. The row clears.

Tips

  • Your teen can revoke their own links too, but only you can delete the rows, so the list you’re looking at stays complete.

Good to know

Good to know: Switching sharing off stops new links, and links already out there stay open until you revoke them one by one. Anyone with a link can read and re-share that conversation, so the emailed addresses you see may be only part of the audience.
