You can install Qbit on your laptop too, here’s how

Qbit can move out of the browser tab and onto your computer. Chrome and Edge install Qbit as a proper desktop app, with Qbit’s own window and icon.

Steps

1. On Windows 11 laptops, click the “install” box. Then, in the new Qbit pop-up, click the 3-vertical-dots at the top of the screen and click “App Info”, then click “Settings” at the bottom of the list, and now click “Start app when you sign in”. A tad confusing but totally worth 30 seconds of your time to enable.
2. Otherwise, follow the two steps shown: find the install icon in the address bar (top-right), then click “Install”.

Good to know: On a computer, the install button lives in your browser, which is why the home screen banner stays on phones and tablets.
