Qbit Teens: accounts for ages 13 to 17

What your teen doesn’t see when they’re signed in

When your teen signs in they get the same Qbit you do, trimmed to the part that’s theirs. The parent pages, the plan and billing pages and the ads are gone from view, so there’s nothing to wander into and nothing to buy.

Steps

  1. Sign in as your teen on their device, or use “Use Qbit as” from their settings page.
  2. Open the menu. There’s no “Qbit Teens” entry and no parent page of any kind.
  3. Open Settings. There’s no plan card, no checkout and no credits to top up. Anything a teen makes is covered by your plan.
  4. Look around the rest of the app. No ads, anywhere, ever.
  5. Tap your teen’s circle at the top right. “Sign out” is right there, so they can sign out whenever they need to.

Tips

  • It all happens the moment a teen account signs in, with nothing for you to switch on.
  • There’s no messaging on a teen account, so no direct messages or group chats.
  • Sign out stays on purpose. Getting back in takes their password, or a code from you, so it’s a button your teen can press freely.

Good to know

Good to know: Qbit answers a teen with PG language and topics by default, and homework help, school subjects, games and the memory you can review are all theirs to use.
