Folder icons, yes you can use one of your own photos
A folder with your company logo, a photo of your dog, or your kitchen mid renovation is so much easier to spot than a name or random emoji. You crop it to a square yourself, and Qbit shrinks it down before storing it.
Steps
- Open the New folder or Edit folder box.
- Tap “Add a photo” in the Icon row.
- Pick a picture from your device (you can also choose an emoji if you just can’t find a photo or image you like in your files).
- Drag and pinch to frame the square you want, then confirm.
- Click “Save”.
Tips
- A photo covers the background color, so the color control tucks itself away when you use an image or a photo as your folder icon.
- JPG or PNG, up to 12MB.
Good to know
Good to know: Qbit checks every photo before storing it. If one isn’t a fit, you’ll see “That photo can’t be used here. Try a different one.”
