Uploading a document to a folder (or subfolder) is easy, here’s how
You can upload all types of documents and files to your folders. Here’s how:
Steps
- On My Folders, choose a folder and then click the Upload button.
- Tap “Choose from your device” for a normal file browser, or “Photos on this device” to go straight to your phone’s photo library.
- Pick one file, or several at once.
- The sheet closes and your documents (and/or photos) appear right away with a status button. It reads Uploading, then Reading and indexing, then disappears once the file is ready to be referenced in conversations.
Tips
- On a computer you can drag files anywhere onto the page, or onto the “Or drag files here” zone inside the sheet. That zone shows up on computers, since phones and tablets aren’t really a dragging crowd.
Good to know
Good to know: Uploads can be up to 25MB each. Qbit happily takes PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, CSV, TSV, XLSX, XLS, PPTX and JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP. Video files aren’t accepted just yet.
