Make a new folder, it’s easy
Qbit’s default folders are meant to be a generally good start, but things get really good when you create your own so they are specific to you. This takes under a minute and displays right on your Home page right away.
Steps
- On Home, tap “+ Add folder”, the button with the plus just left of “Edit”.
- Type a name, up to 60 characters.
- Under “Icon” click “Add a photo” or, if you don’t have one you want to use, then click “add emoji”.
- Tap “Add background color” if you’d like to change its tint.
- If you like, write a short description so Qbit knows what the folder is about.
- Click “Save”.
Tips
- The description does real work. Qbit references it whenever you ask a question inside that folder.
Good to know
Good to know: A folder made from Home sits at the top level. You can also create nested folders (aka “subfolders”) within a folder, as many as you want, and all conversations, documents, photos are specific to that nested folder. Also, if you’ve added people to a nested folder then they can only see and participate in that specific subfolder, not other folders within the primary folder.
