An app icon is awesome on your phone, tablet or laptop, here’s how to add one to your home screen
Adding a Qbit icon on your home screen is easy, though a little different for each device and OS (i.e., iPhone is different than Android is different than Windows 11 is different than iOS).
Steps
- Tap the “Add Qbit to your homescreen” banner on the Home page.
- On iPhone or iPad (Safari), follow these three steps: 1. tap the Share button in Safari, 2. scroll down to “Add to Home Screen”, then 3. tap “Add”.
- Open Qbit from the new icon.
Tips
- This is the step people say they wish they’d done on day one.
- It also tends to keep you signed in, so there is no need to keep reentering passwords.
Good to know
Good to know: The banner shows on phones and tablets until you install or dismiss it, and the same option lives in Support & Setup too. On a phone with screen-time restrictions, the “Trouble installing?” link on the banner explains what’s going on, and Qbit works fully in your browser either way.
