Make text bigger, airier or easier to read
You get to choose how the text looks in conversations: the typeface, the text size and how much breathing room (aka “letting”) sits between the lines. There’s even an OpenDyslexic font. A sample line updates as you go, so you’ll see it before you exit the screen.
Screenshots are on their way for this one.
Steps
- Open Settings and tap the “Personalization” header to open it up. It starts collapsed.
- Pick a font: System, Sans, Serif or OpenDyslexic. The sample line above changes as you tap.
- Drag the “Font Size” slider, or tap the A- and A+ buttons to step it one point at a time, anywhere from 14 to 22.
- Choose Compact, Normal or Relaxed for the line spacing.
Tips
- Relaxed spacing plus a bigger size makes long answers much easier to read aloud together.
- Play around freely. You can always reset it.
Good to know
Good to know: These settings live on the device you’re using, so each phone or computer keeps its own look.
