Talking with Qbit

Want to listen instead of read? Ask a question, then tap Play

Sometimes you’d rather hear it than read it. A bedtime story, a recipe while your hands are busy, a long answer on a car journey. Just ask Qbit to read it aloud.

Screenshots are on their way for this one.

Steps

  1. Ask in a way that makes it clear you want to listen. “Read this aloud”, “read it out loud”, “narrate this”, or “tell me a bedtime story out loud” all work.
  2. When the answer arrives, it’ll have a Play button on it.
  3. Tap Play to hear it. Tap it again (it now says Stop) to cut it off.

Tips

  • This is different from Conversation Mode. Here you stay on the normal Conversation page, and just that one answer is read out.
  • If Qbit’s own voice can’t load for any reason, your device’s built in speech steps in and reads it instead.

Good to know

Good to know: The Play button turns up when Qbit understands you’d like to listen. If you don’t see it, ask again and say “read this out loud”.
