Safety alerts keep you in the loop

That number at the top of your app is your alert count, here’s how it works

The small icon at the top of your screen with a number on it counts your current alerts across all of your teens. Tap it and you’re straight into the Alerts page.

Steps

  1. Glance at the top bar. The button appears whenever there’s at least one current alert.
  2. Tap it.
  3. Qbit opens the Alerts page for the teen with the newest alert, with name buttons if more than one teen has something waiting for you.

Tips

  • Past ninety-nine, it reads 99+.
  • The number goes down as you archive or delete alerts, so working through them clears the count.
  • If you’ve added Qbit to your home screen, the app icon carries the same count.

Good to know

Good to know: The button disappears when the count reaches zero and when you’re signed out, so a clear top bar means nothing’s waiting for you.
