Your photos, documents and past conversations

On a computer you can just drag documents around, here’s how

On a laptop or desktop, filing is as quick as picking a row up and putting it down. Drop a document into a folder, or between two others to set your own order, and Qbit remembers it.

Steps

  1. Press and hold a document row, then drag it.
  2. Drop it on a folder row, or on one of the crumbs in the breadcrumb across the top, to file it there.
  3. Or hover over the top half or the bottom half of another row. A line appears to show where it’ll go, and dropping puts the document in that spot.
  4. Your order sticks in every view except Recents, which is always newest first by nature.

Tips

  • Dropping onto a breadcrumb crumb is the fastest way to move something back up a level.
  • Dragging is a mouse and trackpad thing. On a phone or tablet, the folder icon on the row does the same job in two taps.
