Every link you’ve shared lives in one list, here’s how to switch one off
Share a conversation and Qbit turns it into a link anyone can open. You can see a list of every link you’ve shared, how many times each one’s been opened, and the button that switches it off for good.
Steps
- Open Settings and scroll down to “Privacy & Data”.
- Tap “Manage” next to “Shared links”.
- Read the list. Each row shows the conversation you shared, the date you shared it, how many times the link’s been opened, and any addresses Qbit emailed it to.
- To switch a link off, tap “Revoke” on that row. If the link’s already been opened, the button says “Delete” instead. Both do the same thing.
- Confirm when Qbit asks. The link stops working straight away and the row leaves your list.
Tips
- Links that have already expired keep a “Delete” button, so you can tidy them off the list whenever you like.
- If Qbit emailed a link for you, the row also tells you whether the emailed copy was opened.
Good to know
Good to know: People can copy a link and pass it on, so the open count shows how many times a conversation has been viewed, but not who viewed it. Switching the link off is what really stops it, and that’s for keeps.
