Safety alerts keep you in the loop

A recap of your teen’s Qbit week can land in your inbox, here’s how to set it up

A recap email gives you an overview of your teen’s activity on Qbit, right in your inbox, no digging required. You set it per teen, both the schedule and what goes in.

Steps

  1. Open “Qbit Teens”, tap your teen, and expand “Activity reporting”.
  2. Tap the pencil beside “Send reports to:” if this teen’s reports should go to a different address. Leave it blank and Qbit uses your account email.
  3. Choose a frequency: Off, Daily or Weekly.
  4. Set the delivery time. The time row hides itself if you choose Off.
  5. Switch on what you’d like included, such as topics discussed, time-of-day patterns and flagged content.
  6. Tap “Save reporting settings”.

Tips

  • Weekly recaps go out on Sunday evening, around the delivery time you chose.
  • The “Save reporting settings” button saves the frequency, the time and the includes. The recipient address saves on its own when you tap the little pencil.
  • Whatever you include, the email itself never carries the text of a conversation. For the detail, open Qbit.
