Talking with Qbit

Upload a photo and ask about it, here’s how

Qbit can actually look at a picture and answer questions about it. A page of homework, a landmark, a museum object, a fridge full of food, a screenshot of an error message or anything else.

Steps

  1. Tap the round “+” button to the left of the message box.
  2. Choose Camera to take a picture now or Photo to pick one from your library.
  3. The first time only, read the short photo agreement, tick the box, then tap “Agree & continue”.
  4. Pick up to 4 pictures. Each one appears as a small thumbnail above the box, with an X if you want to remove it.
  5. Type your question about the picture and send.

Tips

  • On a computer you can drag an image straight onto the message box, or copy an image and paste it in.
  • Some questions to try: “what is this plant”, “is this math homework correct”, “what can I cook with these”.
  • Photos in conversations stay out of your folders’ photo library. But of course you can ask questions about photos in your library too, no need to re-upload them to a conversation.
