Talking with Qbit

Talking to Qbit out loud is a hands-free way to get things done

This is the one people love. You talk, Qbit answers out loud, then starts listening again so you can continue the conversation verbally. Hands free, and especially helpful when you’re cooking or driving.

Steps

  1. Make sure the message box is empty. When it is, the send arrow turns into a “waveform” icon on the right side of the query box.
  2. Tap the waveform icon.
  3. Now, simply talk to Qbit. When you stop, Qbit makes a small sound to say you’ve been heard, thinks for a moment, then answers out loud.
  4. Qbit starts listening again automatically, so keep going as long as you like.
  5. Tap the X in the bottom bar when you’re done.

Tips

  • A glow at the bottom of the screen turns purple while you’re talking and blue while Qbit is answering, and the words appear above it as you go.
  • Only the text of the conversation lands in your history.

Good to know

Good to know: Conversation Mode always starts a brand new conversation, and whatever you had open stays right where it was in Recents.
